July (English version)

The arts world has been seeing large improvements in the last few decades – and it has actually stepped forward significantly. However the truth is that it is difficult, nowadays, to speak about art without being tempted to reduce it to painting, sculpture and architecture. Art is much more than this. It always has been, and always will be! One is not better nor worse than the other. And today I am going to talk about art – just wait for it!
About a month ago, I came across some music from a young British R&B musician…
July!
Oh, July!
Ohh! Mood
Literally speaking, this is Music for my soul (quite a sceptic)!
I must admit that I didn’t know him and that at a first glance, I thought he was one more upcoming dream trying to get into the music world. I thought it was more-of-the-same – commercial and musical, somewhat without character and like everything else we have been hearing.
Wrong, wrong – I was wrong from the first thought!
Wrong from the first deduction!
He’s much more than this – oh way more! I got it precisely when his timbre struck and touched my soul.
July has nothing to do with tactlessness.
He’s singular and not plural!
July is the reflex of such a professionalism that can only be achieved with a perfect match between education and passion. Graduated with a BSc in International Business at King’s College, London, he’s not only giving music vivacity and smoothness – something atypical for a 24-years-old – but he’s also mighty and meaningful – something that clutches with his sexy and involving timbre. He’s conscious of how difficult the artistic world is, but he has the “flame of that dream” which is clear in each chord. July is – without a doubt – one of those that fills up our ears and cradles our soul.
July is definitely one of the names that K4 will be following closely as he mirrors all our goals.
July is passion!
July is delivery!
July is work!
July is knowledge!
July is an artist! Oh what an artist!
We greet artists – all of them – for their courage and perseverance. They know that the world is bankrupt of moral values, and they keep working against it. They know that culture declared insolvency and it is quickly on its way to death. Yet they do not give up and they fight daily to reach everyone and evoke the best of us – feeling! They are aware that their path is tough and ungrateful, but they follow it without regrets – there’s no other way. Nobody chooses to be an artist; you are an artist – or you’re not; July is an artist.
May there be courage!
May there be madness!
May there be an artist!
